The reconstruction and opening The Dedinovsky Museum in a modern format was timed to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Russian Navy. The interior work was carried out by professional specialists from Moscow. The museum has created 5 halls with the design of expositions and the placement of exhibits: a hall dedicated to the construction of the first Russian naval ship "Eagle"; a hall of pre-revolutionary history and culture of the local community; a hall of the history of the local community of the Soviet period; a corner of sailors, dedinovtsev; exhibition hall.
Subsequently, the museum was replenished with materials about Dedinov (Oka) wooden shipbuilding, about the birth of the Russian Flag in Dedinov, the village as the birthplace of the country's marines, about the workers of the famous collective farm named after him.Lenin, etc.
The museum hosts guided tours and commemorative events.
The building, the Bronin residential building, which houses the Dedinovsky Museum, is an object of cultural heritage of regional significance.
